"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."  

Matthew 28:17-20 

In 2 Timothy chapter 4:6-8 the Apostle Paul said he was "Already being poured out as a drink offering, and that the time of his departure had come." He considers himself as on the eve of being sacrificed, and looks upon his blood as the libation which was poured on the sacrificial offering. He could not have spoken thus positively had not the sentence of death been already passed upon him. He went on to say that he had fought the good fight, finished the race, and had kept the faith. The Apostle Paul was not disappointed that his time had come to depart this life, and that he would soon be meeting Jesus Christ face to face, not at all. In fact he was as excited as any Olympic gold metalist would be after winning the Olympics. He said "In the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing ! So in 2 Timothy 4 verse 5 Paul instructs us to do four thing just before he departed to go and receive his eternal reward that awaited him in heaven.

Paul said to, "Be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.

People often ask me, "what is the mission of His Song Ministries?" Its simple, God has given us a three fold mission. First, Reach-our mission is to go wherever the Lord sends us and preach the Gospel, The good news,  John 3:16 (NASB) ¹⁶ "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. God has given us a vision here at His Song Ministries, a vision for the lost souls of this world. He has shown us fields where the grain is ripe and ready for the harvest. He has declared in his word that His Song Ministries would be used in reaching many first time converts to Christianity through the preaching of His Gospel, and that many souls would be set free from the bondage's of this current world, as we press forward in doing the work of an evangelist as Paul had instructed us to do in 2 Timothy chapter 4.

The second thing God instructed us to do is "Equip the saints for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ, Ephesians 4:12. His Song Ministries has been used by God to plant new church's where we take a hands on approach to equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, the latest is "Bethel" in Spearfish,Sd where we teach the word of God verse by verse and chapter by chapter giving then the full counsel of God, as well as provide opportunity to serve in the local body and develop the gifts and talents God has equipped them with. Ephesians 2:10 says that we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God Himself pre-ordained beforehand for us to walk in. So rather its planting new church's or finding existing church's where God's word is being taught and lived out, we know that discipleship is the key preserving the Christian faith.

The third thing we are instructed to do is to,"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19 (NASB). Rather its foreign or domestic, we are to go into all the world and serve Jesus Christ. Once God has equipped an individual or a group of individuals for a mission, its our responsibility to Send them out fully equipped to do the work God has called them to do. Rather its a foreign mission field, a domestic mission field, or planting a new church, its our responsibility to prepair, equip, and send them out as the Lord leads to do the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Jesus Christ.

"But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were wearyand scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.  Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.  Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”  

 Matthew 9:36-38
